On October 1, 2018, the assets of McCormick Assisted Living were acquired by St. Paul Elder Services, located in Kaukauna, through an agreement with the Diocese of Green Bay.

As part of the agreement, all current McCormick residents and staff were retained, as was the name of the facility.

St. Paul Elder Services plans a multi-million dollar renovation to the McCormick facilities, including re-designing the dining spaces, adding showers to resident rooms, and installing a new nurse call system, in addition to providing the entire campus an overall facelift.

McCormick’s current Administrator, Jim Genrich, who was slated to retire earlier in 2018, graciously stayed on board through the acquisition, and then retire. His successor will be Hannah Schad, a current member of the St. Paul Elder Services leadership team.

“St. Paul Elder Services is committed to making the transition smooth for all those who live and work at McCormick Assisted Living, and we look forward to getting to know each and every one of them in the coming weeks and months,” said Sondra Norder, President and CEO of St. Paul Elder Services. She added, “This is an amazing opportunity to both expand St. Paul’s mission into the Green Bay market and to help the Diocese maintain Catholic senior living in that community.”
